I hope you all had a fun weekend (first official weekend of summer!). I got a little bit sick, so I didn’t have a whole lot of energy to do a bunch of summery things, even though the weather was super nice here. I did go for a really beautiful hike on Saturday, and on Sunday I went shopping and got stuff done around the house. My mom was here in Seattle too, so it was good to see her! As always, the weekend went by waaaayyy too fast…and here we are again, on another Monday. This week is starting on a good foot, though! I’m sharing a fun little DIY on Sugar & Cloth today. You can check out the tutorial and more photos here.
I saw some wooden animal hooks on Ferm Living a couple weeks ago, and thought they were pretty much the cutest things ever…so I decided to make some of my own! I made a seal, a panda, and a fox, but you can adapt this DIY for any animal you like. I was thinking I should have done a pig...I definitely have plenty of pink paint :)
This project is perfect for a kid’s room, a mud room, or the entryway of your home…and it’s really easy too.
Be sure to check out Sugar & Cloth today to find out how I made these!
Aileen, I may have just let out the most gleeful squeal when I saw these cute hooks! What a brilliant idea. I bet they would look super cute on a kid's dresser as well. Can't wait to make these!
Ooh, great idea! They'd be perfect as knobs on a dresser.
LOVE that panda ;)!
:) It's my favorite too!
