How was everyone’s weekend? Amazing, I hope! I wanted to kick off this week with a house tour photographed by Simply Rosie. I love Rosie--her photography is always so dreamy and her style is really similar to mine! Besides all that, she was the photographer for our wedding, anniversary session, and a styled shoot we did for Love & Lavender. When I saw this lovely home on her blog, I was captivated by that bright teal wall and all the retro accents. Midcentury modern is not exactly my style, but this home is so cheerful, I couldn’t help but fall in love with it!
Stef, the owner of this lovely home, is a blogger and has a vintage boutique with her best friend. They run it out of a 1956 camper trailer which they converted into a mobile shop! How cute is that?
Stef’s family has lived in this house for 70 years--her grandparents bought it when it was first built back in the 40’s!
The turquoise sofa in the living room was one Stef found at a local Goodwill for next to nothing. I like that she's not at all afraid to use color in bold ways--on the sofa, or the big accent wall. She says, I think that as long as you love the color and it makes you feel happy then you have nothing to be intimidated by. I have always been very attracted to bright colors and find them very inspiring and uplifting, which is why I chose to incorporate them into my home. I think it also helps that I mixed some bright walls with some neutral ones so the color isn't so overwhelming.

Ooohhh I was really hoping you would make a post with this colour! Loved it.. ;-)
THIS is my dream home! Full of things of my childhood home. Love the bookshelf with all the colorful pretty things! I am even coveting that couch. :) ALSO to have my own shop in a camper trailer... dream city!! :)
I follow her blog and I just love her home!! The color and all the vintage items are crazy beautiful!!!
This might be a small point but I really like the blue on those walls.
